I remember a while back someone was saying that the video was being sold in Afganistan and we should see it on the internet soon. Did this ever happen?

has anyone seen the video? I mean the whole thing, not just CBS. It shows up on Kazaa, but I am a little hesitant about downloading it. How bad is it?

Unless, of course, there's some controversy...as long as no one comes out and says something like Pearl was really killed by the US gov't then I have no reason to watch it

It supposedly shows the reporter talking about Judiasm and stuff too. I haven't seen the vid. I don't want to see it anyways.
 
It's a sad story, but even sadder that people are into such gore. Why would anyone want to see that? Not for me, thanks. 🙁

If you have a fetish for such thing, go rent the "Faces of Death" series. Somebody I knew brought one over in the early 90's and I got about 5 minutes into the tape and threw up. :|

I don't mean the CBS part. I mean the whole thing with him being killed. It's on Kazaa, and I want to know if its worse than that video of Russian soldier having his throat slit in Chechnya?
OK, never mind. I searched for daniel pearl, and I get tons of hits, but one of them is the video of that russian soldier having his head cut off, and the rest are just weird pr0n. I don't know what kind of sickos are out there.
 
I know of one site that has it posted. I didn't watch it and won't.

I also won't tell you what site it's at, so don't bother. :|

I personally am boycotting CBS for airing that video (not too hard to do anyways because they do suck) against the combine wishes of the FBI and more importantly Daniel Pearl's family. CBS said basically "we're sorry about your loss but we think the American public needs to see this" Translation: Your wishes are not important to us, we need ratings in a bad way so we are going to do anything possible to shock America back into viewing us.

The video is available for viewing at a website called Consumption Junction. Be aware that if you figure out the URL and browse to that site, there are pornographic banner ads and content also available on that site.

I support CBS's showing of that video (although this is the first I've heard of it) because we need to know our enemies.

Wanting to view footage of a man being murdered and decapitated is twisted. I hope to god that Mr Pearl's widow does not get this flung in her face by some TV tabloid show.
