Did PETA kill that big lobster?

Bubba is dead.

By trying to save the big lobster they caused him to be moved to a zoo -- which actually caused his death. But if PETA had not have done anything, that big lobster would have been eaten and help sustain people (by providing food). Instead, Bubba is dead anyway and his body will just rot away.

I am not sure if PETA is to blame, however PETA is not really known to think things through so it would not surprise me.

PETA didn't move it to a zoo. The supermarket made arrangements to have it moved to the zoo and then to Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum for its final days. PETA wanted it released into the ocean.
