Did Oakley change their warranty policy?

From limited lifetime -> 1 year, or was it never limited lifetime?

it changed awhile back...back when they had the Oakley Razor and Razor blade sunglasses, you could always send in your broken ear pieces (either the trigger or the straight ones) for replacement. When they went to the M-frame (with the Hammer earpieces), IIRC, it wen to a one year warranty...

why wouldnt it be lifetime since when you bought it it was lifetime..?

if you live in anaheim, irvine of rancho san margarita or nearby, fuck their warranty, just go by their headquarters and make them fix them or adjust the as needed.

why wouldnt it be lifetime since when you bought it it was lifetime..?

I have a pair of glasses 3 years old and one I just bought like 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately both need to be repaired right now 🙁

I have been using oakleys since the early 90's...don't even remember exactly how many pairs I have owned...

The plastic earpieces on the early razor/razor blade glasses were always breaking, but the new mframes are very sturdy...I haven't had any issues that were not my fault...

not sure how sturdy the new wires, juiliets, etc are though but for outdoor sports (cycling and volleyball), the mframes are awesome...

My X-Metals are hardly flimsy. I've dropped and beaten them up more times than I can remember, never had any issues in 4 years other than my clumsiness.

Oakley got bought out by Luxottica, who is one of our clients. They might have changed to a one year warranty after that occurred.
