Did NameCheap steal my domain?

I currently have two domains with NameCheap, and have had great service from them for the past year or so.

Today, however, when I attempted to register an available domain, I received an error saying that the domain was taken. I checked the WHOIS, and the domain is registered under my name, however I have no access to it through NameCheap. I checked the domain, and an advertising/marketing website was set up. I've sent an email to support, but haven't received a reply.

Ironically, I actually planned to develop this domain(and the name fit quite well). If I lose this, I will be quite pissed. Anything else I can do?
 
Either it's user error (wrong username and/or password) or you forgot to renew your domain.
