Did my videocard fry my motherboard?

I got a ECS K7S5A Pro, with a Athlon XP 2000. I just put it together with a 512 megs of SDRAM, a 400 watt powersupply and 10 gig WD drive. I have Elsa Geforce 2 with 32 megs of memory which I put in it.

After I put it all together I went ahead and tested it by booting the machine, I heard it humming to life but there was no video signal to my monitor... then it all died and wont turn back on again.

Did my videocard fry my motherboard? I was thinking of a possibility that my Geforce 2 might have a different voltage than the motherboard, thus incompatible.

I want to hear your guys thoughts.

Well its definitely not your PSU being inadequate...though I dont know what fried your comp. Could be a lot of reasons.
