Did Mediaone shut off its mail servers??? (comcast?)

I used to belong to Mediaone, and I used their mailservers for mail... then they got bought out by ComCast for a little while here.... I thought @home users would be the only ones that the mail got messed up on.

Seems like today they shut the mail off...i think
if so, comcast is one of the most hard to deal with ISP ever besides Ameritech. =\ (that i've had)

Mediaone was actually bought out by AT&T and as of March 15th they shutdown all mediaone mail servers, and transferred the email address ONLY not the contents of the mail boxes onto their attbi.com domain. Going to www.attbi.com should have some links to info about how to configure your email setup again. The interesting thing is that the news servers are still functional.
