Did Lion 10.7.3 break or cause issues with the Air's WiFi?

First, I updated Lion to 10.7.1 the day I opened the Air, so never experienced any of the zero day wifi problems. Things were fine through .2 as well. But when I updated to .3 a while ago, I notice that every time I close the lid, the wifi doesn't come back. To restore it, I have to turn off WiFi, wait a couple minutes, then turn it back on. The Mac's Network Diagnostic is worthless. And I know its not a router/AP problem because no other WiFi device I have has issues and I haven't made any config changes to the router.

Its not a major issue, but it is annoying. When I open the lid, I want to be able to do stuff right away, not in 5 minutes. :p

My mother has been having problems with her wi-fi too! She keeps complaining how it just drops out and then she has to manually disable it and then re-enable it. She's got the mid-2011 13" Air.

I'm running the 10.8 preview, which has its own issues unrelated to wifi. I don't recall having any wifi issues before that though.

Exact same problem I'm having. Irritating.

Dammit. Its not a huge issue, but its definitely annoying.

Wonder how much I can get for selling the Air . . . perhaps enough for an Asus Zenbook.

You can probably get most of what you paid for it, but don't get the ZenBook, there are other, better ultrabooks out there. The Asus has better screen res, but there is also the HP Spectre, the Lenovo u300, and a couple others that I can't think of with my sleep-deprived brain.

Not much love for the Asus Zenbooks?

That HP Spectre is pretty slick, but I don't see a 11.6in version. :(

In that case I would wait and see about the Samsung Series 9 refresh. I think that they will be making them more Air looking (so silver and not black this time, flat sides instead of little slidy port door thingies).

All that being said, why not just install Windows onto it which will save money and hassle compared to selling and buying a new one. Or, reinstall 10.7.2, wait until 10.7.4, any number of options.

My point is that if you buy it and get the Zenbook, then you really are getting basically the same experience as the MacBook Air in Windows, which is to say, an unoptimized trackpad. Everything else is standard drivers and should be fine. That and IIRC doesn't the ZenBook have a real piece of crap display, or is that the Acer one?

Sounds more like an Acer model to me.

I'm not going to sell the Air, its just an annoyance, and would cost me too much to cycle to another device from this generation.
