I tried to flash the bios on my ata controller card and it said that the data was corrupt or wrong. So I redownloaded the data and now it says that the controller card isn't there. When I start windows xp pro it simply recognizes it as a pci card and I can't install the drivers for it because xp doesn't know what it is. .
Do I have any options?
It is A SIIG ultra ata/66 pci ata controller card. If I had An IDE device connected to it my computer would not boot up. So I tried to flash the bios. Now my computer only recognizes it as a pci device. IT used to reconize it as a mass storage controller. If I try to flash the bios now it says there insnt a controller card there.
My motherboard is a K7S5A.
