Did I place the thermometers correctly?

So I got my new rig set up, seems to be working fine, but I'm not positive if I set the thermometers correctly. I got a Hardcano 12 (the fan diagnostic/control unit).

For the processor one, I placed it on a flat part of the heatsink.
For the HDD I placed it on a metal part of the piece.
For the PSU I placed it on the side of the piece.

I attached each with the tape provided. Does this sound correct?

Those are tricky to get accurate temps with. I have two that goo to the readout on my P160 case, and the CPu one, I've got routed under the cooling element as close to the core as posible (without it interfereing with the contact between the waterclock and CPU. The other two probes you've got, the HDD, I'd tape to the top of the drive on the metal somewhere, and the same for the PSU. Heat rises, so the top of the PSU will give you the most accurate reading.
