Did I kill it???

I just built my brother a system, and I had been using his memory in my system until the motherboard came in. I swapped the memory out, and my computer would not come on afterwards. Nothing, not even fans. I tried reseating the ATX power connector, which I noticed caused the fans to temporarily spin as the connector went in. Power supply blew shortly after, and I bought a new 300W one today. I now have fans and power, but I don't have any video output at all. Did I fry/kill my graphics card when the PSU blew up? Many thanks for any help!

(I'm leaving my drives unplugged for now--I'd just like a video signal to start with.)

The Epox board has a LED card that gives the signal FF as it posts. I don't if that helps or if anyone is familiar with their error checking system.

tried reseting cmos? it worked for me when my PS blew in my old PIII system. Or u can put in another video card and see if it works.

FF on EPoX boards means all is good... But your mobo will post without a video card ... I know mine does. Hope this helps a little

Ohh, your setup is so much like mine.

Well anyway, clear cmos as the above poster suggested. If that doesn't work you can always pull out everything and remount it. Make sure the ram and videocard are seated all the way into their slots. Give them a little extra push after the locking mechanism is secured.

"FF" is what you get for boot attempt after it has cycled through the earlier stages, once up and running "FF" will remain on(I`ve an Epox 8KHA+ board ).

No video output could be badly seated AGP card,I would also check you`ve the FSB 100/133Mhz jumper set for 133mhz setting, a lot of people forget this.
