About a month ago, i thought i bought a set of Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers for $180 + $39 shipping in the FS/FT forum as seen in thread here link

However, today in the mail, i got a set of v.2-400 instead of the promised 4.1 Promedia's.
Even though it is a set of v.2-400 it is still much better than my set of Altec Lansing AC-54 that i am currently using ....

What should i do? Sent it back and ask for a refund or keep it and ask for a part refund or does anyone have a better idea as to what i should do?

**Edit** What upsets me is that for $220 ... i could have bought a pair of logitech z560's shipped and have about $60 left over .... :(

if the merchandise you received is not as advertised, you have the right to ask for a refund and tell the seller to reimburse you for the return shipping cost

I have contacted the seller asking for partial refund.
There are two people on the FS/FT forums selling the klipsch v.2-400 for $175 shipped.

So i am asking for $44 dollar refund since $219 -175 = $44

does it seems resonable to you guys?

normally its 175, but this guy screwed you over and lied to you. so im thinking 150, thats an 69 dollar refund for compensation of all your troubles.

Well i guess i am too nice of a guy and atleast the speakers were neatly packed ....

But the most disappointing part (other than not getting my dream Promeida 4.1) is that i can buy a pair of Z560 for about $135 shipped! :Q

First of all, I do not know the version of my set or about this issue when I post the news.
Second of all, from what I recalled, when i bought the unit, it does call Promedia 4.1 too.

Anyway, I am still sorry the problem that I had cause. I will refund the money. Sorry about everything.

If the v2-400's have the updated CP-1 controller (headphone jack, power button, etc) then they should be worth more than original v2-400s. Somewhere between the price of the v2-400s and the 4.1s as an upgraded CP-1 makes the v2-400s = 4.1s - upgraded crossover
