How did you pay? 3 days with no contact is unacceptable. If he's so damned busy, then he should not have placed the item on ebay.

If he's too busy to even send off a simple email, then he should not be selling on ebay. It's not that difficult.

yep.. Sellers have a responsibility to be timely with communication, too - not just the buyers. If you get your item, I'd leave a note in the feedback regarding slow communication.

Remember....it was Labor day weekend too. I don't know about you, but I wasn't even near a computer for most of the weekend...I was out enjoying the sunny weather before these stupid hurricane remains from FL showed up this morning.

I remember my brother had to wait 3 weeks for a package from Florida, and only a few days for a package from China.

Calm down, it'll come soon

If you were buying something for a few hundred dollars I could see your point. But with such a cheap purchase you need to cool off. There are many reasons he might not have contacted you yet. If you nagged him like you seem to be I might put you at the bottom of my list to worry about. He might still ship yours out in a timely manner just not have the time to respond to you. If that is the case he has done nothing that would make him a bad seller. I have sold for years (150+ positive) on ebay and if you did this to me, you'd go to the bottom of my list. If he doesn't get back to you within a week, this start to worry.

There is no excuse for not sending a simple reply stating that he received payment unless something drastic happened. Assuming that it didn't, this seller needs to rethink his selling practices. If you're the type of seller that doesn't even acknowledge payment, then you'd never get a bid from me for any of your items.

lol I used to use an auction management tool (andale) to manage my auctions, I had some buyers get mad that I sent them an automatic payment recieved notice. You can never satisfy some people.

I use Paypal for both payment and shipping. They send out emails with the proper information so I don't have to. But don't crap on this thread, its about feeling ripped off because of no contact after ONE day.

i understand that expecting contact after one day is unreasonable and if i could take my actions and this thread back I would. However the dynamics of the situation have changed and some people still refuse to observe that. Its been almost 6 days and still nothing. I cannot comprehend why you would try and defend such poor selling practices and again it must be reiterated ITS NOT the money, its the underlying principle of being taken. What if next time he rips someone for 50 or 100$?

Ok, I didn't notice it had been 6 days. Yes, in this case you should either have received the product or an email updating you. I apologize for the confusion.

How about you take your own advice and go troll elsewhere. This thread is about the OP asking if he got ripped off and how he should handle the situation.
