ok, so i just finished putting together my new c2d e6600 system with a gigabyte ga-965p-s3 and a fsp power supply. i connect everything together and turn it on. nothing, no beeps, no bios. i go back and take of the cpu cooler and reseat it. turn it back on, the computer starts up and POSTs. then it shuts down right away. something smells like it was burning inside the case, and now the computer wont turn on at all. no fans spinning nothing. im thinking i either fried the cpu or the power supply is bad. any thoughts?
