Did i F#*@ up my tbird?

I was messing in the bios of my KTYa-RAID with a 1.1 tbird and i changed the multiplier setting to 7.5x133 i think from 11x100 i think. I did unlock the L1 bridges or anything yet, and now my system doesn't POST. my monitor just stays blank and i hear noise coming from the computer. I dont know if it's something wrong with the monitor or if i messed up something in the bios? does anyone know if there's a way you can set the bios to the original settings?

PS. building a computer is not easy :\

sorry but i dont know much about cmos and bios, because i've owned a compsuck for a couple years, where cmos and bios doesnt even exist. how would i go about clearin the cmos?

Don't bother with the CMOS! If you have a KT7, hold down the INSERT key while booting. This will set the system to default. You can start over. Whew!

it's probably not the cmos or anything..the insert thing is not working. i've been trying to install the monitor and it hasnt been going to well. i think the computer is loading up because i can't see it. the laser on my intellimouse blinks and everything...i'll try to manually clear the cmos tomorrow, but before that i'll try another monitor.

If you are pretty sure that your computer is booting up (lots of HD activity) and just not displaying... I would first try

1) Remove power from case and re-insert your video card... normally you would get a series of beeps though if it were the problem

2) Try a different monitor. If you were previously using a different monitor... and your refresh rate is set to high for the monitor you are using now... it could cause this failure.

I just cleared the CMOS seeing how it's a brand new home-built computer. i didnt have many settings set so i just did that. i didnt feel like lugging up the other monitor upstairs to try it out :] it works now, thanks for the help.
