I bought a new desk the other day, it had a cabinet. Put my desktop in there, thinking it would be fine. Well I come home and the processor was near 85c (q9400). Hard drives were at 75c and 4870 was at 100c. Dang, shut it off asap. Went to turn it back on when I moved the computer, now it hangs at the windows load. The hard drives will load for a couple seconds then just sits there with the windows 7 logo at full bright. I can't tell if its frozen or just sitting there. I'm going to re ghost the drive today but I have a feeling something got damaged from the heat. Everything was running hot. It was stupid on my part. I'm passed that, just trying to fix it. Anyone have similar issue in the past?

Double check all your connection. After moving the PC something may have come loose. There is a possibility that the system was damaged from the heat but no way to tell for sure.

Hindsight 20/20. NEVER use these types of cabinets, they are almost never vented at all, even if they are, they arent vented properly.
