Usually if an app or game doesn't support the device, it doesn't show up I'm the search. This has been my experience for all the android devices, so I'm kinda wondering how you purchased a game that doesn't run in your device

I purchased the games for my S2/Prime and they ran fine on those devices. Some wouldn't let me install on the S4, some would. Of the ones it let me install a few didn't work once installed.

I don't think the Play Store's idea of compatibility is always accurate. For example, I edited my build.prop in a way that it let me install some of the games it wouldn't before, and two (The Dark Knight Rises and Nova 3) worked fine.

The kind of people buying ultra cheap phones on fly-by-night prepaid carriers do not care about the Android version though. Its a phone, it makes calls, it can run apps. Thats good enough for that clientele.
You mean, fly-by-night carriers like T-Mobile?
