Did Gmail stop giving out invites?

I got 1 other gmail account which is not fully mine. Its actually the "Crews" or "clan" or "team" email addy or whatever u wanna call it.. Had it forever and no invites. If i get another from my friend i post it in the other gmail thread (Sticky one)

I've heard before that the more active users were receiving the most invites, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Not true in my case. My account has been gathering dust since I got it.
Yesterday I signed in and noticed a problem with the Contacts, so I emailed Gmail support. Today I signed in to find an invite waiting.🙂
 
I thought the invite craze wouldn't end until Google reaches a target number for a user base, no? I thought the whole point of the invite thing was to map a whole ton of social networks to see how folks are interconnected, and I also thought Google wouldn't stop until they had a pretty impressive social map. (And a final version of the email interface too, i'm sure)
 
My main account has received 6 + 6 + 1 + 4 + 1 so far.

The ones I haven't used at all have received exactly none.
 
I could use one for a friend of mine, I haven't received any in my gmail inbox and I promised I would hook her up. Anyone want to help a fellow out?
