That's the thing with the men's 100m in '88 as well with Ben Johnson. He easily won that race, then got stripped of the gold for using steroids. Years later he said something like: "Yeah, I used steroids for that race, but then again so did everyone else. I was the only one caught."
I remember that race too, i thought it was great when brute force actually won.
Carl Lewis was so tiny next to him.
