Dude I noticed the exact same thing here in Lexington, except at 3:30 P.M. No clue why.

Is it? I only follow holidays I get off from work. And I didn't think that many Jewish people lived in central Kentucky but who knows?

I was driving into work at 5AM today in the D.C. area and I thought to myself, "Wow - I've never seen so many people on the freeway this early, especially on a Monday. I wonder if everybody is feeling guilty about not going to work enough so they all decided to go in today?"

OTOH, when I came home at 2PM the traffic was much lighter than normal.

Things seemed slow in Columbus around rush hour too. I cant believe that many bosses left early because of that "holiday"

I've never seen traffic move like that at 5pm.

That's funny. I did take the day off. Came back to town Sunday, and took a day off to recover from traveling.
