Did Epic ever release the UT2k3 patch that fixed inflated numbers on AMD systems?

Let's see....Epic has a choice of two things to do:

1. Complete UT2K4 with it's new weapons, vehicles and game types.

B. Patch a glitch in a benchmark used only for d*ck-measuring and has no effect on the game.

What would you have them do? Regardless of whether it got fixed or not, the benchmark babies would just whine about something else, most likely returning to the old standbye of accusing Nvidia of cheating when it's obvious that outfits like Futuremark and Valve have deliberately been kneecapping NV chips in benchmarks and coding. (ATI $$$ talk, ya know?)

Here's my benchmark: Do the games I'm playing run well at the resolutions and level of detail I want? If yes, it passes!

BFG10K: 2225 was released in May, and anandtech's article is dated June. So the beta patch anand was talking about must have never been released to the public.

DefRef: I simply want to do a comparison of my IC7 / P4 2.6C @ 3.31Ghz vs. my NF7-S / 2500+ @ 2.4GHz, but botmatch only, since the video cards in the machines are a 9800 Pro / 9700 Pro, respectively.
