did discovery channel dump their show forums?

If I were the DC I would have deleted the forums a long time ago. The forums (the last I looked) were full of scathing comments about how terrible the DC was. It was a telling indictment of the DC and showed just how bad their "viewers" felt about them and their shows. Especially Gold Rush: Alaska:

I stopped watching discovery, history and similar channels several years ago after they became nonstop reality garbage. When the history channel does actually put on a documentary it is crap like "ancient aliens"...

I am 'this' close to getting rid of satellite/cable all together. The only things I would miss are occasional sports. Maybe I'll cancel it this week. Everything I watch is via torrents anyway....
