I been tracking my order everyday since I customized a computer from dell. Today I found out that the customized list is alll gone.
Only the processor is shown in the order.
Did dell scam me?
 
I feel screwed by Dell all the time. I bought a $1600 laptop (~2 months ago) and it only has 100Base-T (when one of the reasons I bought it is that my old laptop couldn't handle h264 videos... and I have a gigabit network, so I kinda wanna transfer said large h264 videos as fast as possible). I hate how short the power cable is.. it's also a piece of junk that is in two pieces... and the plug portion can be hooked into the power brick in two different ways... yet one way is backwards and fails to power the unit. Why couldn't they use a design that forced it to go in the correct way?

Also, it might be possible that your design matched a certain config except for the processor?

Are you sure on the dell power thing only working one way because I just setup a new dell laptop last night and I've either gotten lucky and selected the right way every time or it works both directions.

I never had an issue until the other day either. I thought something was odd with my setup as the laptop backlight was on and then it dimmed out. I looked over and noticed that the power brick light wasn't on. I unplugged it and then plugged it back into that socket and it stayed on for a second. Thinking it might be some weirdness in that plug (which I doubted anyway), I switched plugs and it still did that. I removed the socket-to-brick cord and turned around the plug and it worked fine. Don't ask me why it decided not to work the other way....

They need to do way instain tracking> Far to mary processors get shoen in order but arctual computer not slipped! My pary are with you, I am truely sorry for your lots.
