Did Christian Walker just end his dad Herschel Walker's campaign?

Seeing the party rally behind him, Fox rally behind him, and lots of "man/woman on the street" interview stories where no one is saying the story has an impact on them. Gonna have to say this one is kind of decided.

By decided do you mean the fact Republicans have ZERO moral scruples? Hasn't that already been proven by the election of the admitted sexual assaulter??

This is why their claim of prolife is utter bullshit

Well, yeah. As also seen by Loesch's "as long as we get the senate, Walker can abort any fetuses he wants" bit.

It has kind of galvanized them behind him.

In many polls, abortion is like the 5th or 6th issue already. The Roe steam is wearing off.

And now OPEC is cutting production by 2 million (?) barrels a day and with the SPR already significantly tapped...gas prices are going to swing up again just in time for midterms.

With gerrymandering, it's nearly statistically impossible for the Dems to hold the House. Senate likely gone too depending on how sharp the gas prices kick back up.
Glad you're not the one out there rallying the troops.

/shrug

I just know how people think. The first look at the next gas price hike (if it happens before November) and whatever little momentum Ds had built up, is gone.

Anyways, all of it is futile once the ISL case is decided.

Modern media has actually catapulted us back into the dark ages, isolated subcultures, clans, cults lives inoculated from outside information, running their own ecosystems of orchestrated reality.
There have to be a reckoning at some point or lose it all.

The irony of the World Wide Web.

If there's 100 people there, you've got pretty good odds that Walker has either impregnated one or threatened one of them with a gun.
how long until it comes out that one of the herschels killed someone other than the vikings?

Just like the story that some inside the Ukraine government authorized the bomb that killed the daughter of the Russian official. Like I get the media wants to report anything that isn’t morally acceptable but idiots don’t give ammunition to Putin.

Yea wonder where that leak came from...

He's too fucking stupid to know when to quit. I'm guessing there's still more they're holding onto as well.

Why would he quit? He’s got the complete backing of the GOP and their viewers because they need him more than he needs them. The GOP have to take control of the house or senate and will do anything to make sure this happens including backing an obviously unqualified candidate.

Republican voters either also know this or already have the mindset that anyone with and “R” after their name is good enough for their vote.

This is yet another turnout election and the consequences could not be higher (until the next election when the consequences will once again be eclipsed). Depending on the side of the isle you stand on, it’s about stopping republicans from destroying democracy or stopping democrats from destroying democracy. In reality though, it’s a fight about truth, facts, and reality and we’ll either be a country that seeks the truth or one that makes it up.

Some Georgia Republican voters may be a bit gun shy (har) about putting this man in office for 6 years. Not all of them by any means but some.

I didn't mean quit as in drop out, more like stop saying specifics about this. Just use some generic platitudes that his party is famous for.

I know he's never gonna withdraw. That would require shame or self awareness. Two things his party has no concept of.
