Did Christian Walker just end his dad Herschel Walker's campaign?

My question is will the people likely to vote for him even find out about this stuff in their bubble sphere?

The majority of the Republican party these days are horrific hypocrites about everything so it won't change their minds. However there are a few left with some integrity and also independents will be a factor. So it might move the needle.

Makes sense. I am just wondering if they even have to make that choice. The reality distortion field most of these people live in is hard to penetrate. I always SMH when they are interviewed and don't know basic facts and data about anything related to politics or social issues. They are consistently the worst informed, so I guess my answer to the OP question is No, it didn't end jack shit.

Right. First, you can bet that Fox isn't covering this in any kind of ... truthful manner (if at all) that would move any die-hards off the bandwagon. Second, the independent/undecided demo is either shockingly stupid, or completely uninformed so either they'll misinterpret it or not hear about it.

Hey, some actors are good people. Some even make good politicians. Ukraine's Zelenskyy, for one.

Some football players also seem to be good people, at least until the brain damage turns them into raging berserkers.

Sorry, I got nothin' good to say about fake reality tv stars.

Touche my friend touche.

Edit: Absolutely true about Zelensky, thought he was a comedian but I digress, I doubt Reagan would be up to those standards.

Kemp was the secretary of state at that time.

While running for Governor nonetheless.

I think scandals have a negative impact. It may not be as large a negative impact as we think it should but the effect is so obvious that it’s undeniable.

For example a democrat won in fucking Alabama due to scandal.

That Democrat won because over 97% of black women voted for Jones. A plurality of Republicans including white women voted for Moore.

That ain’t sayin’ much for Republicans. Yet another low bar reached for them

Polls show that race as nearly a dead heat, with Warnock +1.3 (RCP avg) which is close to a statistical tie.

Walker is repugnant slime. I sure hope he is not going to our Senate.

Seems the Republican base is into slime. Those people are truly lowlifes

No he won because his opponent was a weird pedo.

Christian Walker also said this about Gov. Deathsentence

"We haven’t seen a leader like Governor DeSantis in my lifetime. He’s at Waffle House frying hash browns for first responders. He’s making sure peoples homes are protected from looting. He’s providing hurricane relief HIMSELF. This man is going to win re-election by a landslide."
What came out first, the story of the paid abortions or Christian finally having had enough?

What came out first, the story of the paid abortions or Christian finally having had enough?
Paid abortion story, followed by Hershel issuing flat Trump-ish denial, along with very mixed messages from his campaign ("rehashed old news" from the team, vs. flat out denial & the woman is lying from Herschel himself & his claim he is just "generous" to be paying cash to a lot of people - presumably all women...)

The Beast report on the paid abortion & the Herschel denial both preceded Christian finally having enough Monday night
Edit: story link, updated with Christian comments
...
"After the story published, Walker released a statement in which he called the story a "flat-out lie" and said he denied it in the "strongest possible terms." "I'm not taking this anymore. I planning [sic] to sue the Daily Beast for this defamatory lie. It will be filed tomorrow morning," he said.

Meanwhile, Herschel's adult son, Christian Walker, lashed out on Twitter—in defense of The Daily Beast and against his father.
“Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one,” Walker tweeted.
“He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it.
“I’m done.”

[no sign of the planned defamation lawsuit yet that I've seen...]

If he sues the Daily Beast he’ll have to sue his son

TBH this will only help Walker as they are already using this to try to paint a sympathetic picture around him, or that it's just a Dem hit/smear job, or that his son is actually an undercover Dem operative, etc. Crazy I know, but it works in this timeline. FYI Oz is rapidly gaining on Fetterman as well. The "at least the Dems will hold the Senate" wishcasting is already crumbling.

So are you back to predicting that republicans will win more than 100% of the available senate seats?

The wild card will be abortion, and women are pissed as hell about the abortion thing, including republican women. I believe this will save both the house and the senate, easily.

There are likely to be a meaningful number of Kemp-Warnock voters.

more likely that they will just leave the senate race blank. Of course, Kemp would then want to use this as an excuse to invalidate those ballots because "no legal human would not vote for every seat!" fabricated nonsense...but then that would hurt him, too.
dilemmas.
