Yes we did.

1. My grandfather worked on building the lander. (building not designing, just a humble, if very skilled aircraft factory worker). Why would the gov't spend all that money to not do it.
2. Many, many people (i.e. the public) attended the lanches. Sure they could have faked it, but not without a rocket capapble of actually going to the moon. Again, why not do it when you could actually do it for the same price.
3. The 'phyiscs' evidence they cite in those 'documentaries' is just plan ludicrous. Their 'unexplainable proof' is simple to someone who has passed college newtonian physics.
4. Occams Razor. Simple logical principle that says the simpliset scenario is the most likely. Given our proven technological capabilities and the obscene complexity of such a conspiracy, it is far more likely that we actually did it.
5. The ultimate check. The Soviets. They had plenty of radar and tracking abilities. They had a HUGE vested interest in saying that we didn't go to the moon. If they had een a SHRED of evidence that we weren't there, you know damn well they would have called us on it. It would have been the hugest propoganda coup of the cold war if they proved that the US had creatd a lie of that magnitude.

It's not all his fault. Last night one of the Discovery Channels or TLC (edit: It was The National Geographic Channel) showed a show about the "moon landing hoax."

This myth will continue as long as television shows keep perpetuating it.

Name of last nights show:

Riddles & Rituals
Conspiracy Moon Landing

Cheers!

Dr. Evil put the lasers on the moon not NASA!

How can you be a skeptic when you have no idea what you're talking about?

0 gravity on the moon? How does it stay in one piece then????

OMG!!!

I dunno, but I have a hell of a story about a middle school science teacher.

In 1979 I was in 7th grade. My science class teacher told us this:

"The Earth has gravity because it spins. If it stopped spinning, we would all float off."

I was only in 7th grade and knew he was full of sh!t. I called him on it and tried to explain that gravity existed because of mass, and if anything, the rotation of the Earth lessened the effects of gravity beacuse of centripetal force.

I was sent to the principal's office and given detention. The next day, my father (a chief engineer for TRW's aerospace program) came in and ripped both the teacher and principal a new one.

Take a physics class first, then post about 0 gravity.

F=G(m1m2)/r^2

I'm not going to explain it to you. Look up the Law of Universal Gravitation.
