Did anyone save up $1,200 to be ready for the PS3s?

Its not that I don't wan't either a PS3 or an Xbox360, its just the prices for each, plus accesories, plus games puts them out of my budget.
The Wii interests me not only because of its lower price, but the fact that I might be able to get my SO to play games with me, SSB and Duck Hunt are directed right at people for this type of experience.
 
I won't buy this to play. I thought that's what this thread was about. Of course I already have a wholesale pre order in for multiples of this machine. My customers on ebay would be disappointed if I didn't provide them with what they wanted.
 
I have a launch day PS1 and a launch day PS2 that still work perfectly to this day, and if I remember right, both were very expensive at the time also. I'll be picking up a launch day PS3 without a second of hesitation.
