I'm curious if anyone here was lucky enough to get an invitation for a Glass prototype.

If so, are you ponying up the $1,500 to get one?

Why would I pay $1500 for a "prototype"?

Cause you might be a developer, or a tech enthusiast, or rich? Or a combination of the three? :p

I wasn't chosen. Oh well, don't mind waiting for the refined consumer version.

I wasn't chosen and I didn't win the Powerball. Kinda needed for both of those things to happen for this to work out. So much for the plan.

I really want one, but 1,500 is far too much for a prototype with limited use. I hope they reach around 200 - 300, then I will buy one. I am hoping they catch on and people in the US start using them to record their commutes so we can get some "russian-style" videos here in the US.

I really like the idea of project glass. I think it would be a lot of fun to own one. But there is one thing I will not like about it. Just like when people wear those bluetooth ear buds and I mistakenly think that they said something to me, I can be pretty sure that will happen a ton when people are speaking commands to their glasses.
