ROFL! This time it is his pick for "performance officer!"

So, what can we learn from all of this?

A) The tax code is too complex that no one can do it right.
B) The Liberal Motto for Government is "Do as I say, not as I do!"
C) The Liberal Motto for Government is "I'm going to raise your taxes but I won't be paying them!"
D) Everyone (of all parties) in the US Government is an Elitist Crook
E) All of the Above

ROTFLMAO!! This is getting flat out disgusting.
I think they should start some major auditing in the Congress. It would be interesting to see just how many of those representing us are paying their taxes.

Yeah they all did but Daschle, while aware of his liability, waited to be nominated until he paid them and now he's asked to have his name removed for the nomination:thumbsup:

The tax problems are getting to be pathetic, and definitely serve as a big strike for Obama imo. However, to be perfectly honest there are more important issues that if he handles well I guess I can forgive this either gross incompetence or gross corruption. I really don't like it so far though.

I wonder why we have to follow the tax rules if these chumps haven't been doing it for years.

Sounds good on paper. But who is going to do it? Democrat congress or Democrat Administration? Who keeps getting tripped up by failing to pay taxes?

I agree 1000%.

I think every single member of Congress, the Cabinet, the VP, and the Prez himself should receive an IRS audit.

The results of which would be made public.

This just proves that the confirmation process works. I'm sure Obama's not heartbroken over Daschle as I bet his nominating him was payback for Daschles support or some other Dem Big Wigs support

Good to see that the people who vetted Palin for the McCain campaign still have jobs during the recession.

LOL. The big problem with Daschle is that he was aware he owed the money back in June and waited to be nominated before he paid it. I think it worked out for the best, nobody really wanted him, I believe he was forced on the Pres.

Multiple incomes, confusing tax codes. Most were honest mistakes except Daschles, he purposely waited to pay even though he knew for awhile he owed.

Good riddance. Between him and Billary the two worst picks. I hope he gets a physician for the spot...
