I saw a thread somewhere else where they were talking about the 'last American Chopper ep'. True, or not?

It was at a Mopar website, so it's possible that they're insane :p

I saw some stupid show that airs on Discovery now... it seems to have replaced American Chopper. It's some goofy looking guy with a goofy sounding accent too. Too bad Jesse James did not get the bike show.

OK, I reread the thread, and I think it's just the OP saying he won't watch the show anymore....it's 'jumped the shark' :p

Link

I don't really watch it anymore, I prefer 'Rides'....different shop every week, no one place getting all the glory.

Boyd really comes off as a jerk. I wish that show went to a different shop every week, there's lots more than Boyd out there

if you notice, they say the same lines on boyd's show as they do on american chopper...

they keep whining about not getting it done on time, people screwing off, etc...and bam, it gets done on time...

its boring to watch (hotrod that is) boyd seems like a total asshat

All that does seem to be true, however I still enjoy seeing them build the cars. I wish the show actually covered more of the technical aspects of what they are doing.

Boyd does come off as a complete ass sometimes, I would never have imagined him to be like that. When that goofy dude (CAD/CAM operator) made him the little car wheel/keychain thing, I thought the Boyd was going to make him cry.

But, if it weren't for those other guys, the bikes would never get completed. :)

maybe they should thinking about hanging up the episodes. those AOL Superbowl commericals were terrible.
