No, that happens the day the petrodollar is no longer the world's reserve currency and more than 50% of global blockbuster movies are not made in Hollywood.

Until then America has plenty of hard power and soft power to spare.

To have jumped the shark the thing isn't just past its prime, it's so past its prime and ludicrously irrelevant that it's painfully obvious. So no, we have not jumped the shark. However, if Dubya has a son that becomes president...
 
The US might be heading towards becoming a 3rd world nation but it has not jumped the shark. I know that Happy Days might be something most have never even heard of but jumping the shark has a specific meaning.
 
Several things put the U.S. past the tipping point but here a couple of examples off the top of my head:

A big one was giving Corporations personhood.

Recently no cap on the amount of money the super rich can throw at an election to put their personal puppets in office.
