Did a bios update and now printer doesn't print, Help!

I have a Asus P4S800 D-E Deluxe board and I recently did an bios update. Everything on my PC is working great exceot I cannot print. I have a HP L/J 1200 and when I print something it bombs out with out an error. I uninstalled the printer and the driver and then rebooted. My PC didn't detect the printer at all. I manually configured the printer and selected the driver but still no luck! Help!

Have you reset the BIOS options to the defaults and checked that the LPT port is enabled in the BIOS?

Maybe the LPT defaulted to SPP. You may need to change it back to ECP/EPP.

If you have it hooked to USB you need to install the driver prior to
attaching the printer.

Two minutes after I wrote this I realized I didn't check the bios and enable the LPT port. Thanks everyone!! :beer:
