I have a Asus P4S800 D-E Deluxe board and I recently did an bios update. Everything on my PC is working great exceot I cannot print. I have a HP L/J 1200 and when I print something it bombs out with out an error. I uninstalled the printer and the driver and then rebooted. My PC didn't detect the printer at all. I manually configured the printer and selected the driver but still no luck! Help!:(

Maybe the LPT defaulted to SPP. You may need to change it back to ECP/EPP.

If you have it hooked to USB you need to install the driver prior to
attaching the printer.

Two minutes after I wrote this I realized I didn't check the bios and enable the LPT port. Thanks everyone!!
