Diaspora Invites

Interesting premise.

I'm open to using an alternative to the conventional social networking sites (e.g. Facebook). Just one that is secure against data mining and one where I don't have to be bothered by a friend of a friend of a friend requesting to be my friend, or retarded ads (yes, I know of and use ABP), or distracting games.

From reading a little on their site it seems that you can create your own diaspora servers for private networks etc, could be interesting.

you guys should post your names there so we can have more contacts. it is very simple, i wonder what the goal is. I do like being able to make my own categories very easily.
