I don't know what he did or didn't do and neither do you. As far as Feinstein goes she referred it to the FBI.

The Intercept being what it is, hard to take much of it at face value, but this update seems relevant

Feinstein has released a statement Thursday afternoon acknowledging the existence of the letter. “I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities,” she said.

If this is what the supposed victim wants, then fine. As much as any rational human, I'd prefer that rat-fucker Kavanaugh be sent to the pillory and never confirmed to any position where the lives of humans swing on his poisoned judgement, but if it's true that Feinstein's decision comes at the request of the individual supposedly victimized by all this, then I'd say that the grizzled old congresswoman would be making the legit bravest move of anyone on this undoubtedly treacherous committee of scoundrels.

The matter has been sent to law enforcement, so yeah. Maybe we'll see that this Kavanaugh pedo was joining Trump on his annual rape plane rides.

I can think of a number of reasons Kavanaugh should be kept far away from the SCOTUS but if there is an accusation of sexual abuse it needs to be genuine. False accusations designed to harm another, even one I don't like, should have criminal repercussions. People's lives have been ruined because of such things. If there is something serious? Then it's a legit reason.

There is a way to end the SC war.

If Kavanaugh goes down put up Merrick Garland. Lyin' Ted already pointed out Garland's decision matched Kavanaugh 90% so that would give them 90% of what they wanted.

From there things can go back to detente

It's not having love for Garland but having confidence in Obama's handling of the selection process. Obama didn't pick him to pack a jury for his upcoming hearing on whether a President can be indicted or subpoenaed
