Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes

I heard this song at this Blues & Jazz event a few days ago. I immediately liked this song so I did some hunting. Next thing you know, I'm listening to Paul Simon. Why didn't I discover this before?

Can anyone suggest other artists and/or songs that fall in this genre? I need to expand my music tastes. Thanks!

The whole Graceland albumn is kick arse. The old Simon and Garfunkel stuff is getting a little dated but still good

Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, CSN&Y

I have some Ray Charles. It's really good stuff. I need to check out Neil Diamond and CSN&Y (never heard of them).

Thanks for the input.

It's a great song. The whole Graceland album is great.

Other great Paul Simon songs are:

Late in the Evening
Slip Slidin' Away
Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard
You Can Call Me Al
I Know What I Know
Train in the Distance
Mother and Child Reunion
Still Crazy After All These Years

Never heard of Crosby, Stills, Nash and (sometimes 😛) Young? What planet are you from again? 😛

Paul Simon is pretty good - check out Hearts & Bones, Late in the Evening, Slip Sliding Away, and of course, the ones everybody knows, like Kodachrome and Me & Julio.

Those guys are Ladysmith Black Mumbazo

Graceland is indeed a great album. I causght Paul Simon(79% sure it was) on a SNL repeat of last season and he seemed to totally suck though. If it was him it's sad, but Graceland still makes him a legend.
