Definitely the Viper, those Stealth cards use the Savage 4 chipset
which IMHO are junk.

That's what I thought, just had to be sure. A local shop sells both cards dirt cheap, and put with a K7S5A I should have better video than an all in one board for about the same money. Thanks.:)

yeah, i had a s40EXTEME 32MB

extra crappy if you ask me. The chipset just couldn't do anything right

Update...bought them-Viper V770U, $20US each-good deal? Anyway they came with hs/f and 16 ram chips on the cards, ram chip specs-->HY57V161610D TC-55 9939A KOREA. I will run one through 3dmk2k this afternoon. Bought a few ECS K7S5As/Athlon 750s to go with these cards-man it's so cheap to build a nice performing PC these days.:)

Update2...Well I ran 3dmark2k on my ECS K7S5A/933Athlon(modded 900B) first with an Abit Siluro T400 64MB MX400 , and got 4909pts, then with the Viper V770- got 3546 using 6.xx Nvidia drivers, both in Win2k. Not bad eh?
