Diamond SQ2200 worth keeping?

Bought it for $8 to stick in an old Dell Optiplex G1 I'm selling, says Diamond multimedia 1998 Rev A and has an Aureal Vortex 2 chipset(AU8830). Should I keep it?...Is it a good gaming card? Also where can I find drivers for this card?

It's model is MX300. WinXP has drivers built in (don't download the drivers off of windows update!). Otherwise, http://www.vortexofsound.com/ , you'll find all the stuff you need there.

edit: sorry, I forgot to actually answer your questions (my fault, lack of sleep). The Vortex 2 chip was released around the time the Live cards were launched. IIRC, the Vortex 2s had better sound quality, but slightly higher CPU usage (this was at the time the Vortex 2 was launched, I don't know what they were able to do with driver since then). It is a very good card for gaming, as you can see, I use one myself, it sounds great 🙂 .
