Diamond MX400 or SB Live 5.1

given these choices, the Diamond MX400 or the SB Live 5.1, which is better? (no Turtle Beach for the meantime)
 
I own both and I think the 5.1 is the better card. No new drivers this year for the mx400(none ever for win2k/XP). When using it in win2k the OS picks it up as an ESS card, so you lose some of the features of the card. If your going to be using one of these for a while get the 5.1
 
The MX300 was better than the MX400 but Diamond no longer makes cards (I think) so I can't really recommend them. If these are your only 2 options I guess you should go with the Live.
