I'm running 3840x2400 just fine with a 970 G1 gaming.

Even a GTX 670 could hit 60fps at 3840x2160 with max settings on Diablo 3.

GTX 970 would be overkill just for D3.

So the 770 4G I have in my sig is fine for 4K on D3 then? I will probably wait and hit something up around tax return time.

Try it and you'll see what happens...It's the best way to know

d3 isn't a particularly demanding game, a 770 4g should be able to handle 4k @ 60fps with no issues at all. I certainly wouldn't buy a new card until you try it out.

You are fine with what you have already. Wait until the next generation of Nvidia cards come out IMO.
