diablo2 and d3d

hey
does anyone have problems with directx 8 and the new diablo2 patches?
the game wont run anymore after upgrading to dx8

btw...if i dont upgrade d2, it'll work fine, but as soon as i install 1.06 it doesnt work

Hmm... need more info on your setup. D2 patched works fine on my computer with DX8, albeit slowly in D3D.
