Online Bnet is a joke at the moment. In 3 weeks i have acquired high end gear. Couple p gems and you were able to have a high rune. In turn able to create Runewords, such as enigma, hoto, spirit.

Pallys are the biggest bs around. Hammers easily attainable to hit 10k MAGIC / physical. Where even magic immunes cannot survive.

Enigma adding teleport and you basicly got a god going around killing ******. oh yea 75% block rate to add to that.

Game has some serrious balance issues. Right now i don't play vanilla D2, im into mods now, which some serriously fixes these issues.

Yeah, Blizzard sure messed things up with v1.10

Hell, I remember before 1.03 you had to run in and outta town multiple times just to get enough potions/scrolls!

highest level i ever got skills was a 47 meteor with 45 fire mastery something like 12k on the drop and 4k per seconds for the fire of each one. Once you get going...3 were always down...so 12k per second and about another 12k per 3 seconds on the drops

yea...all the variations were great until .08...they got bad in .09 and horrible now IMO. It is fun, but imbalanced.

i maxed out a javazon and a fire sorc and a Whirlwind barb... man, that game was freakin addicting... i refuse to install it cause i don't want to be addicted to any game as i was addicted to that one...

Some people don't like it, but Titan Quest is a Diablo clone and I had a LOT of fun with it. More then any game since Diablo II in its genre. The expansion just came out as well and I'm enjoying it as well. Highly recommend both

This game is absolute crack, I played it for a good four years (four years of my life I wish I could have back) before finally giving it up. The Diablo series is pretty much done though, all the best Blizzard employees have since left to other companies, including Bill Roper, the Schaefer brothers, and Phil Shenk. I wonder whatever happened to Chris Metzen and Samwise Didier...they were my favorite.

I thought the expansion doesn't come out until next tuesday?

It is the closest of any game to playing like Diablo, but it still lacks something that Diablo had.

I actually like the atmosphere of the first Diablo much more than the second one for some reason, but the second one is a better game overall.

Metzen is still a VP at Blizzard, and as I recall he is also the lore guy on Warcraft. It's safe to assume that he's still working on WoW and the expansion.

I was the Paladin king of all king.
I made the Hammerdin famous.
I once had the top 3 Paladins on the East coast ladder.
And I had the only top non-barbarian in the top 20.
Yeah, I was on crack and had no life.

Here are some old pictures I found:

This was the first build Hammerdin that I got to the top ladder.

yes, i remembered you, especially the name.

i had a lvl67 barb with a +2 amulet. then LOD came out, and decided this was the right time to quit this crack addition.

Once you get to level 85+, its so hard to get any points to level up.
I remembered when trying to get from level 89 to the magic mark of 90 it was almost impossible.
The only way for me was to run through and kill Diablo.

I used to piss people off because I would find a game that had less than the full amount(8 people), go in there, run through the Diablo stage, kill Diablo and people were like WTF cause the game would end then.

is you spec him right they are the most overpowered class in the game

Smite or Hammerdins are insane
