Diablo II Ladder Reset coming: June 17

Well I did the sin and played D2 again like I used to years ago, hours, non-stop, good thing I'm in vacation... or bad thing, not sure. As I wanted I went with a Sword Barb, he's now Level 37, in Act V Normal, all quests done except Baal and Nilhathak (spelling?). I was lucky enough to find a Nagelring from Blood Raven in Act I, kept it until late in Act IV and traded it for a Blood Letter, and now my Berserk damage is much better.

I've played alone until mid-Act III when two of my friends joined and we played until pre-Diablo, and from there I fought Big D alone. It took me a good hour and a half to bring the beast down and around 250K Gold in pots and repairs, not to mention Merc's resurrection costs. It's a pleasure to play it with friends but I'm more of a solitary guy so it's challenging for sure but it's quite rewarding. Fortunately for me I'm also busy screwing around with the Spore Creature Creator demo, lots of fun just editing stuff around, I can't imagine how fun the full game will be, it was nice from them to release this type of "teaser" for us that much in advance. But yeah that's another subject.

Been playing on my own (like I usually do) got a Sorc up to about 27 and a half in late Act 3 Normal. Been perming mules on the 2nd comp in the same game, which bumps exp/drops a little... Ahh the joys of a reset.

I'll probably stay in Normal until I farm a few decent uniques/put together some of the good cheap runewords.

lvl 72... just beat hell ancients. hell diablo was absolutely hilarious! took us about 40 minutes to get through chaos. three cold sorcs and one fire sorc. we seriously cleared everything, and then the pit lord boss guy was both fire and cold immune... gg. someone ended up with the fantastic idea of resurrecting his merc and then we all just telekenis'd the pit lord and he couldn't move lol. took about 10 minutes but the merc took him down.

D2 is actually kinda fun while everyone has shit for gear.


BTW if anyone has a Sol rune they want to give to the Jeeeb....

all these memories coming back to me! I stopped playing when 1.10 came out.

I :heart:ed my lvl 90-something javazon, bowazon, sword barb, and ice sorc.

I remember speed farming meph hours at a time with my (300% magic find ??) sorc; those were the days.

Too bad Blizz deactivated accounts that werent used every 90 days. I lost all my stuff years ago, but I wouldnt mind playing again.

Join in Blort! I'm with you, I quit when 1.10 cam out as well, picked the game back up in May (I believe).

Got my sorc to 19 but I'm gonna restart with a new account as it is.

fuck you Blizzard. After putting days into this game, I go to select my character last night (lvl 78 now) and I get the message "player not found" - she's been deleted by Blizzard for some reason or another (a glitch in the Matrix?). Somehow I don't think "Jeeeb_Blizz" was an offensive name, so I'm guessing it was a server glitch that now leaves me up the creek without a paddle. I'm taking it as a sign. Fuck off Blizzard... hello neglected life.

Or you could give it up, get an Xbox 360, and play some CoD 4 and Forza 2 with meh ^^

I think it's back to BF1942: Desert Combat for me. Never really enjoyed COD4 multiplayer... just lacking something. I'm tossing around the idea of starting a hardcore character which I've never done, but absent that, if my sorc is gone for good, this game is dead to me (at least until the D2 crack kicks back up in my blood as it inevitably will).

I found my CDs but I have no freaking idea where my cd cases (along with the cd keys) are. It seems the only way to get new CD keys is to pay $10 and ship the CDs back to Blizz, or buy both the games again.

This is the best time to play hardcore mode . I hope they got rid of the baal bots. I refuse to magic find anymore, its just to boring. I wish I would have read this 4 days ago!

Annnnnd I'm back into D2. Haven't touched it since a few months after it came out. Weird thing is I bought it yesterday morning since some were speculating D3 would come out. I really didn't think this day would come haha.
