Diablo 2 Keeps on crashing in XP with GF3.

Okay I don't know why this happens but ever so often in Diablo II LOD my pc just crashes. When it's loading a game on Bnet it just boots me into my desktop and gives me an Exception Error. Also it stoped doing this latley but at times what would happen is when it's at the door about to enter a game the door would flash couple of times and when I went into the game my entire screen was garbled and flashingl like crazy. Only Diablo II does this anyone have any suggestions? My system is listed below also there is one more problem in the game lets say im in Town in act 5 when I move around some parts of the lvl it just starts to SLOW down to like 5 fps then speeds back up this is also getting really annoying.

using Nvidia 21.83 Drivers.

What video mode are your running D2 in?

Run the test again and select 2d, youll probly like it better since it shows more detail. your FPS will go up signifantly.
The only thing you lose is the fisheye affect.....
