Get this. Office Depot is selling Diablo 2 for $59.99!! I just got a Microcenter ad for $37.99 for this game. After OD price match - $25.89 plus tax. Too easy!

Ok, anyone have a scan of this ad, just in case MicroCenter doesn't have any more (bet they still have the ads, but who knows)? I'm going to MicroCenter here in KS to try to pick up the ad or two right after work to see about getting the PriceMatch on the game.

I didn't know OD did such things. I think I tried once and they said they didn't do this type of deal.

Hmm Office Depot price matches everything and plus gives you 55% back of the difference. My friend just told me yesterday he pulled it off a while ago with a Sony e400 monitor. It's on the website at least, under low price guarentee.

Like I said it was too easy. I got the Microcenter ad yesterday and tried to pick up a copy but, of course, they were out of stock. So this morning I went to OD and expected them not to have a copy. I was delighted when I saw 3 copies left and even more so when the price was an astounding $59.99. So I quickly went to the customer service dude and asked if they priced matched Microcenter. I showed him the ad and two minutes later I was out the store with a copy that cost me $27.71 with tax included.

By the way, I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.

MicroCenter stores:
Columbus
Cleveland
Chicago
Westmont, IL
Atlanta
Houston
Tustin, CA
Denver
Cincinnati
Washington DC
Philadelphia
Boston
Dallas
Santa Clara, CA
Long Island, NY
Kansas City

Definately hitting Microcenter in less than an hour to get an Ad, then I'm gonna hit up OD and get my copy of Diablo 2. I'm mostly getting it for Battle.Net access woo, gotta love the Hard Core option if you beat it online :)

Enkidu: I'm from Southern California here and just got the pricematch done - worked like a charm! Total came out at $36.58 after tax.

Warning- they did ask if the online ad charged shipping and I quickly said "no" in which they took my word. Some places may be on their toes and charge you guys shipping as well...

Note on ValueAmerica: They're out of stock and have a really lagged service. In my rush to get D2, I ordered from them on 6/30/00 for and haven't received it so I called CS today. She tracked it and doesn't know what happened and if I don't receive it by the !@#$*)!! 14th, to call them back and they'll do something about it. I have half the mind to cancel the order or reject the package because the confirmation email says to expect 3-7 bus. days (though I do have 2 more bus. days to go...). Might as well save time by pricematching and getting it NOW. No wait for a rebate, no hassle.

Poncho, which Office Depot did you go to? I've been to two Office Depots and they don't seem to have Diablo too. Called the other stores and no one's heard of the game. What gives??
