Potential - it's all about potential. Some people don't agree with destruction of known life (embryos) in pursuit of Possibly helping others especially when other methods are available. Besides, science is no where nearly advanced enough to control the growth of cells accurately enough to use embryonic cells.

Exactly the reason why we need more research. Too bad religious zealots will do everything in their power to thwart progress. Better to have millions of people die unneccessarily and spend billions on medical care instead of unlocking the capabilities of embryonic stem cells. :roll:
