DHS Latest PSA......Really?

You see, the DHS is like the little couple on top of a wedding cake. Someone put them there, and when the band starts playing "The groom feeds the bride" song, the bride just ends up with cake all over her face.
 
While a bit "Big Brother"esque, the idea makes sense. People tend to look the other way instead of doing something or saying something. The basic idea of it is that none of us want another US terror attack, and if we want to prevent it then the American people need to be aware of their surroundings.

That being said, WOW are most of those youtube comments racist as hell.
 
In the past couple of years there have been over 120 suspects charged with a terrorists type crime. Not one of them has been white. Not one. All, that means every last one was muslim.

Now tell me that PSA wasn't just a bit over the top PC. Did ya notice who the saviors were?

Have any of you been paying attention to TV commercials lately? LOL! Unbelievable, just.....I don't believe it.
 
White is a race, muslim is a religion. There are white muslims that will suicide bomb you just like all their brown muslim friends.

Not quite. I have not found "good" muslims, if any exist at all. I have nothing against black, brown, white or green. But if it helps you to sleep at night, by all means say I am a racist.

That PSA announcement was a testimony to PC and you know it.

Now granted that AQ has been recruiting in Eastern European countries trying to get "American" looking terrorists to use in the USA. So far none have been found here. That is not to say they won't be. .....but white terrorists? Give me a break. At least they could have had that woman say "ahhla is a bar" as she set the "bomb".

Honestly, I would make the video this way myself.. Think about it.. Say "brown people" or people of a specific demonstrable faith are involved 9/10 times. You make the video accurate based on reality, you will have 30 special interest groups crawling up your ass.

Make whitey the bad guy, and at worst you get a small write up in a half-assed news pub and a link on drudge.

If its my job to get this PSA done, whitey is going to be the bad-guy every time.

Secondly, it could arguably be trying to demonstrate "it could be anyone". Look for suspicious activity itself, not just shifty looking brown people.

True true, but those "special interest groups" need to stop being such bitches all the time. They really need to get an understanding of the first amendment, which protects their right to exist among other things.
 
It's so sad. If people in general were more educated this kind of grade 3 level teaching aimed at adults just wouldn't be necessary.

Well if they are "good" practicing muslims then they must, by the tenants of their so called religion, call for, support and practice that all non-believers be enslaved and/or killed if they don't convert to islam.

So, yes, there can not, by definition, be a good, peaceful muslim.

It's their religion and beliefs, not mine.

So long as their so call religion calls for the death of all non-believers, then they are our enemy.

Yeah, I feel pretty much the same. It is a bit overbearing, but it has a point.

Imagine if they had listened to James Woods before 9/11....

Yes, there are those of the Christian faith that truly believe that atheists are absolutely wrong and will end up in hell, BUT, there is no, not one, Christian religion that calls for the enslavement and killing of all non-Christians.

That's a BIG difference.

Please don't bring up the fact that there were Christians that did in fact kill non-Christians for that was their error/sin. There is not one Christian religion that has as part of their basic tenants the killing of non-Christians. Also, there is not one major religion of the earth that calls for the death of the non-believers, except for the so called religion of islam.

That's exactly right. Unfortunately the OP is a deeply confused person when it comes to religion, culture and public service announcements.
