DHCP ip conflict

I heard teh 5100speedstream only hands out one lease, but someone told me there's a trick way to make it work. My modem is connected to a hub, which is connected to two computerse. I recently reformatted one of the computers, and now, i have a ip conflict problem. This happened to me recently when i bought a new computer. ipconfig/release/renew doesn't work, because it says the address assigned by the dhcp server is the same as the one on the other computer. The ip address is: 192.168.1.64. I've tried changing it to 192.168.1.63 on one of the computers, but it still doesnt work. Is there any one to make it so that my modem assigns to different ip addresses for both computers?

Nope, because you are probably only paying for one IP address. It kinda sound like your modem is also a router, but it is probably hard coded to only DHCP one address, and has a subnet mask to ignore any other addresses you may try to manually assign.
