DHCP Configuration Question

Hello all,

I have a Windows NT 4.0 Server running at home and I am trying to configure DHCP on it. So far I have added the DHCP Manager Service and created a scope to assign IPs. Everything is working great, except for one thing. My DHCP client computers are being assigned IP addresses no problem, but I can't figure out how to get them their default gateway and their DNS entries automatically.

I don't want to have to assign them on an individual basis. What am I missing? Thanks.

In DHCP Manager, hit DHCP Options at the top. Choose Global if you want all of these settings to apply to every scope or choose Scope if you want them to just apply to the Scope you had highlighted. You'll then have a list of all the settings. Choose the one you want hit Add, then hit Value and you can enter in the info you want it to give out.

Just an addition to BOZO.

The Default Gateway is the ROUTER setting in DHCP Manager. Then, specify your DOMAIN NAMING SERVERS (or DNS Servers).
