Hello,

I hope all are doing well. I have some DVI questions that I've been trying to answer myself throough extensive research but I really haven't gotten my question's 100% answered. I have a ViewSonic ViewPanel VPD150 flat panel monitor that uses a MDR-20 Female DFP connection. It came with an ATI XPertLCD video card which needless to say isn't up to par with todays games. I would like to upgade to a new video card. Either a Geforce3 or Geforce4. I'm leaning towards a Geforce 3 only because it's really cheap on Pricewatch and it is still a good card and much better then what I have now. My question is, with an DFP to DVI-D adapter, are DVI-D monitors able to be used on DVI-I video cards like the Geforce 3Ti 500 or Geforce 4 Ti4200? I don't want to get an adapter and a new Vid card and find out they don't work with my monitor. So if anyone knows if this is compatible. PLEASE let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. If any of you are in the same situation as I'm in and found a way to do it then please let me know. Thanks for your time. Have a good one.
