DFI UT NF3 250Gb - Worth the upgrade?

I have had heard nothing but good things, and have really been concidering upgrading. The biggest thing is the ram voltages. First off, is the new BIOS out that suppots 3.3v? Can anyone guess how high my BH-5 coudl reach at 2-2-2-5 with 3.1/3.3v? Also, currently my chip (2800+) seems to top out at 2.25 no matter what I do. I cant get anything stable over 250x9, or 285x8 on my KV8 Pro. Think 2.2 is a chip limitation or a board limitation? I have see alot of people get 2.4 out of the 2800+. The other thing is how do the sata channels hold up over overclocking? I have 2x160GB Maxtor SATA in Raid0, and a 200GB WS SATA backup drive. I am looking into this board purley from an overclocking standpoint. I am 100% stable now at 245x9 (2.2) with mem at 204fsb 2-2-2-5. This seems to be my max stable 24-hour prime overclock. Think I will be able to do better on this board?

ANd yes, DFI board rocks. OCs very well, stable, and has alot of features. I love mine. I previously had 2 vnf3-250 and they sucked and cuased all types of LITERAL headaches. SO if it's not gonan cosr u an arm and a leg teh UT is a great board and wil be well worth it.

You might do a little better, but I definately don't think it's worth the money. If you're getting a new board I'd say get a new processor too (socket 939).

As for the SATA locks, I could be wrong but I believe the nForce only locks 2 out of the 4 SATA ports it supports. Since the DFI board uses all 4 ports from the chipset you would be limited by your SATA drives.

Well, as far as not being worth the money, its a gift, and I will be selling the KV8 Pro I have now, so its not money as much as it is effort. I am fully aware moving to 939 would be better, I am just waiting for a better selection of boards. I need a board that eeither puts out high DDR voltage or works with a DDR Booster to supply my BH-5, which currently limits me to the Neo2. I have heard just as much bad as I have good with that board. I am holding out for a solid 939 board (hopefully, a 939 version of this DFI board) and until the winchesters get a bit more mature. They can also be a bit flakey at this point. Not worth spending the money if I will regret it and just reupgrade later. This board should be more than enough, so I decided to go with it. On the SATA issue, I was thinking it might not be an issue since two are from NF3 and two are from a Marvell controller, but if it is ill put up $15 and just get a cheap PCI SATA controller.

The Marvell chip is just a PHY for the nForce3 SATA ports.
