Hi,
I saw the recomended ram list, but still what ram are you people using? I need 2 sticks of 512mb. Anything outhere thats decent for around $100-$150. I'd rather spend $100 though.

Thanks

You can get 1GB Corsair Value Select for under $85 shipped. I'm using that motherboard with that RAM and my system is rock-solid stable at 2.38GHZ (overclock of > 500mhz from 1.8GHZ) with just the stock HS/F and one 120mm case fan.

If you're not going to overclock at all, it's probably the best deal out there. If you want to overclock a little, it's probably still the best deal out there. If you want to overclock excessively, you may want to look at other options (non-value line)

I actually got my hands on 2-2-2 Kingston HyperX PC3200 DDR at Fry's on sale in January for $178.00 for 2 sticks of 512 MB (I bought 4 sticks total)! This memory has overclocked well (It will do decent overclocking while keeping low latencies), and has been rock-stable. I have been VERY happy with it, and I use it in my DFI-SLI board with no issues (I used in in a Chaintech VNF4 Ultra board before that). I do not think you can find it at these prices very often though.

yeah I recommend grabbing something off that list or you could be like me and have some haard times getting it to boot the first time. Only thing I dont like about the board
